Grand two-story living room

This large two-story living room was beautiful but a bit of a challenge for my clients to design.  It needed some updating and the furniture layout needed to be reworked in order to meet their needs.  The height of the ceiling made it difficult to acheive a cozy and inviting space so I tried a couple different options with wall colors and accent walls.  They love modern organic decor and wanted to incorporate some new pieces and maybe a new fireplace design to create the look they wanted.   They also wanted to keep the fireplace as a focal point for artwork but needed to make the room function for everyday tv watching and entertaining. The modern entertainment console with floating shelves balances the fireplace wall really well and the extra large sectional is great for accommodating several people while still allowing for both focal points to be enjoyed.  With the vision for the room in mind, they can work on creating their space over time.
